Problem Note 49728: "The procedure was unable to list the business data definitions" might occur when you attempt to list data items using the INFOMAPS procedure
When you use the LIST statement to display the contents of an information map, you might see the following error.
[ java.lang.NullPointerException ]
ERROR: The procedure was unable to list the business data definitions for the current information map.
This error occurs when a default aggregation is not specified for one or more categories.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- In SAS Information Map Studio, open the information map.
- Open the properties for each category in the information map, and then click the Classifications, Aggregations, Formats tab.
If the Default aggregate function is blank as shown in the following display, then select the Measure classification, and then switch back to Category.
COUNT(argument) should now be filled in.
- Save the information map.
